I think it is good, as long as all subraces are LA +1 or lower. By morphing into a caste with +1 LA, you already basically retroactively paid the LA by losing a level you had before. It's a cool idea, similar to the Necropolitan.

I certainly liked it. They should all be about +1 LA, though the queen caste actually takes two steps, so it'll be +2.

Given how they produce their warriors, is the Hiveling battlecry the following: "PEANUT BUTTAH JELLAH TIME!"
