Sam Saturday dives under a table, barely avoiding being blown to smithereens. How.. Undignified. Still, the "death" of poor Cyban, and the destruction that have just happened have convinced him of one thing, that Keith and Sornnolu should make the world a better place by killing each other.

Brushing the dust off his vest, he rises to his feet and takes hold of the sapphire necklace around his neck, the one piece of real jewelry he wears. Normally, he'd use his normal parlor tricks, but there's no time for that. So it's time to call up the spirits.

As the sapphire in the necklace begins to glow, Sam waves his hand through the air in an appropriately mystic fashion, and mutters a few choice pieces of stage magic lingo. arba arbadak, kalazam. An odd mist, both corporeal and incorporeal, begins to surround the magician as three ghostly, indistinct figures rise from beneath the floorboards. The spirits will attempt to protect any bystanders from stray bullets or other havoc caused by the duel between Sornnolu and Keith, by absorbing any attacks that might otherwise cause the innocent patrons harm.
