I don't believe in a One True Love - in fact, I find that concept extremely depressing. But I believe in multiple True Loves, people you can be happy with for the rest of your life. I'm also looking forward to falling in love again in the future.

Distressingly fragile right now, it seems I've never been a "best friend" sort of a person, and I'm jealous of everyone who has friends they've grown up with.

I briefly went on the forum for Bigger Than Cheeses, but I got accused of being anti-feminist for not thinking all strippers and sex workers are by definition being exploited and abused. Why did you choose your username?
Me'n'it go back a long way. I first really discovered the word when my mum and I were travelling across Victoria and I saw a sign to a town called Serpentine. It just struck me as a really lovely, evocative word. It came to be my default name for my fantasy "me"s, and stuck.

Why are you in the Playground?
Well, originally, cuz my ex was on it a fair bit and it looked fun and interesting. Now... aside from my addictive personality (), it's a good place to talk about a whole lot of stuff with a whole lot of different people, basically.
