Ken brings his attention back to Valeria. "We're alright. The hollow that grabbed you has been killed and so have all the others. It threw you out of itself and I carried you away from it and tended to your wound." He tries to sound firm and reassuring. "Now we've got this supernatural stranger here who claims to have merely come to congratulate us on our victories." He points to Elder.

(I think she should be staring at makeshift bandages made out of Ken's shirt covering her wound instead of the wound itself. :P)
