Neither Talsarios nor Ash had a clear shot, Brandon and Nathros blocked most of the stair top and Stefan and Jeanne blocked what little gaps were left between the armored men.
Brandon hurled another dagger down the stairs, but it skidded harmlessly along one wall. Jeanne had better luck, landing an arrow straight into the ribs of the nearest goblin.
The goblin charged and two others, knives drawn, charged right behind him.
The nearest goblin takes a pair of wild swings at Nathros, trying to stay out of range of his spear. He doesn't quite succeed and finds himself impaled on the dwarf's spear.
The second makes reckless charge at Brandon and takes two equally ineffective stabs at Brandon, not even connecting with his armor.
Jeanne swiftly reloads and fires another arrow just past Brandon's hip and into the goblin facing him.
Stefan waits with an Immortal-inspired patience and fires when Jeanne does, catching the goblin facing Brandon square in the skull. The goblin bleeds profusely but doesn't fall.
