The panicking Kin ended up on her back, directly beneath the terrible foe that had caused her to fall. She had already thrown up an arm to shield herself from its wrath before she realised exactly what she was cowering from. When the penny finally dropped she gave an embarrassed cough, lowered her shielding arm and used it to sheepishly rub the back of her head.

"Heh, sorry about that, little kitty."

How embarrassing. Ah well, at least there was no actual danger; No doubt the girl on whom Kin was currently lying ('Alia', was it?) would be glad to learn that too.
