Kol's loss, being another Son of Sanguinius, saddens Ardelan greatly. He makes sure to visit his remains, and takes a minor part in the proper rites for one of his chapter.

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, blood to blood," he intones, a short prayer often said after the death of an Blood Angel or other Son of Sanguinius. His flesh and bones would be returned to ash and dust, his blood returned to his Chapter in a cycle of rebirth.
