With Alternate Form you retain your own skill ranks and feats, including bonuses associated with your original form. The ability does not include gaining the new form's skills or feats. Alternate Form's adoption of the new form's physical abilities will alter Strength-, Dexterity-, or Constitution-based skill modifiers.

Though not specific to Alternate Form, it's worth noting that the Druid wild shape ability functions as Alternate Form but also gains Elemental feats when used to assume the form of an Elemental.

Since wildshape is no longer linked to polymorph, does this mean that the restriction "The assumed form can’t have more Hit Dice than your caster level (or the subject’s HD, whichever is lower)" does no longer apply post-errata?
