Not that I'm saying we should go back to telling gays and lesbians to do HRT and SRS like in the 1960's (at least in Sweden, don't know about other countries, except Iran, which does the very same thing today)*, far from it. That would be wrong an terrible.
* Is this one of the reasons why some gays and lesbians dislike trans persons?
