As did I, simply because every other shield in the game that has an additional effect tacked on (Morgana, Sion, et all) lose that effect once the thing is gone.

In other patch comments and musings, that Garen fix, and THAT RIVEN FIX. I love you Riot. The new Maw item looks like something I will almost always build on Riven now.


Also, didn't Dog include a "Do the Evolution" line in his Victor guide? (Which still needs to be added to the OP) It seems a bit out of place in the announcement about the Maw.
