C'mon, he's a Fair Folk Noble. The Fair Folk are perfectly capable of Shaping attacks. Sidereal Shaping is more along the lines of retcons, camera angles, editing, and well placed background characters. Pinkie is a much better Sidereal than Discord.

Yeah, I'd say Discord would make a pretty proper member of the Gentry. Though it begs the question of how he feels about cold iron...
