We've invited you to this meeting because we have a ambitous project in place that would benifit from all of our expertise. I invited Project earth to assure them that it is a peaceful and non-agressive program. And, to put it simply, we're planing a mar's mission. We've dredged up the old blueprints of a plasma rocket, which would drasticly cut down on the time needed to get there and back, and the following makes it look like a sci-fi novel. It is possible to make the trip in to mars in 39 days. Of course, we realize that this will be a massive undertaking, but consider the benifits involved. Firstly, there would be the prestige of making the first sucessful maned mars mission. Second, after we do that, we can establish research stations that would be out of reach of the majority of world powers for some time. Thirdly, the experince gained would be immesrable. There was a old television show that sums it up; To go boldly where none have gone before.
