Yeah...that stuff happend too. I can definately see some of that "Animesque" style in his work just like Mookie but honestly mookie isn't so much copying the anime style as he is just being a lazy artist. I only really know about Gold Digger and some other webcomic he puts out. His style is definately something different, but I met the guy at a con in Virginia a few years back and he seemed pleasant enough.

I don't know anything about Gold Digger, but is this where Mookie got his anime styled art from? It's always confused me that he obviously cribbed his style from anime but he only ever talks about reading western comics.

Yeah, Gold Digger is a western comic, just has that same idea of "Cartoon meets anime" style.
