The Seren continues to follow Daiya from a distance, keeping his confusion at bay. He pretends to browse the occasional merchant's wares, looking in on stalls and perusing them halfheartedly. I hope the girl knows what she's doing, he thinks to himself, as he smiles perfunctorily at fishmonger hawking his goods.
