In general I think they are better for title. Then again I was taught in school to never use 1234567890 in written form unless you are actually doing math.

Don't forget big numbers. If you tell someone in a business that their account has two million, three hundred seventy-four thousand, five hundred and twenty three dollars and sixteen cents in it, they'll get really annoyed.
