Yes, it should, actually. That's more a question of caliber and muzzle velocity than the length of the barrel. I'm fairly certain that some of the larger shotguns and assault rifles would be able to punch through just about any wall not specifically meant to resist such ordinance, considering that they can apparently penetrate the armor of something like an Atlas.
