Vesa will find that Alia to have been through a fire at some point, judging by the charred sections on her suit, and that it's sustained some other damage as well, as it has several claw marks scarring it, and what appear to be a few dings from bullets.

One hand leaves Alia's shoulder to neaten her indigo hair; it seems a little odd (or really creepy) but Alia and perhaps some of Vesa's superiors probably know by now that if she's willing to maintain physical contact with you, you're pretty special.
