It is used to easily tell who fired a gun recently. Firing any gun will give you traces, as will working with gunpowder. Consider getting a bullet packing kit to have an excuse for days you didn't go to the range (ranges keep logs, best be truthful).
Good tip, I'll defintely get a bullet packing kit. And yes my P.C. also believes you should always tell the police the truth,......about anything they can find out anyway
