So there are lots of people who play borderlands 2 here. Does anyone else think the menu system is worse than borderlands 1?

For a game in which PC UI improvements were promised, I'm surprised and disappointed to see just how much more sluggish it is. My framerate drops when I open it! What other game does that?!
