As he closes in, you can get a better look at him. He is tall and sturdy looking, about 6 feet tall and easily cresting 300 lbs, with broad shoulders, barrel chest, and disproportionately short legs. His "cowl" is actually his face, and he can open his long-fanged jaws terrifyingly wide:
