I need you to try and either hold back or negate your own magic as much as you can."

"Susan" snorted. "I cannot turn off my power. I can restrain myself from using it, but the potential is still there. Even if I expended all my power, it would still return. I can no more negate my own abilities than you could negate your heartbeat."

"That is not...typical. But perhaps."

By now, they were approaching Obsidian Flare's chamber, and could faintly hear voices from within.
