Mirielle raises her eyebrows at the veiled threat of the note, but thanks the waiter and heads back to the temple's library. While there, she sets up a copying spell on one of the more intriguing books she found that morning before diving back into her research.

TFO, you mentioned that there were several interesting books Mirielle came across. If there were any that might lead to vestige binding, I'll go with that. Otherwise, something related to undead/deathless/other ways of cheating death, or funerary rites.
