Your ears are ringing, your eyes are blinded, and to top it off you're on fire! Well, that's not altogether accurate. It's more like everything's on fire.
A large, regal, almost draconic-looking orange beast with wide blueish wings lands a few feet from you. It looks decidedly pissed off as it roars again, dissipating the smoke caused by its opening volley.
As more of the area becomes visible, one thing does look noticeably different: Thales. He's now taller, bluer, and all-around more intimidating. He helps put out the fires on and around you before communicating with his eyes that this battle will be finished, one way or another.
"Looks like we have company," Carn deadpans.
