The Silversmith's Guild representative stays sitting while Markus delivers his tirade, waiting a few seconds until it is over to begin his response.
"One. I do not appreciate your words directed to the quality of our goods. Our jewellery is just as exquisitely crafted as yours, and with enchantments the overall quality is likely superior. But I will not get in to this argument.
Two. The Goblins. We did not hire them, as you may think, to take Hobbespot from you. We hired them because, one, we wanted labor. A better barracks for the Millford Guard, a center for our mages, bigger shops for the smiths and artisans who we help employ, you name it. Two, we underestimated how many Goblins our money would purchase, we thought it would only be enough for a small portion. It was not our intention to take influence over the neighborhood away from you. However, with this new-found influence, we wondered if we could fulfill a goal of ours -- get rid of the games entirely. That was what our message to the Underwood and Silviat families was about. If this concept is completely disgusting to you, we can withdraw our planned meeting entirely.
