I doubt she's Lilith. That one is much more recent than the others, she didn't come around until the 8th-10th century, at least according to wikipedia.

It's always possible that the beliefs of everyone who has read the Bible and all of its incarnations can retroactively rewrite reality to create Jones. Not probable, but possible.

If we go back any farther, being Eve/Lilith/whoever will become the only option.

My personal belief is that Jones is actually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybele. Earth Goddess, Mother Goddess, often assimilated into other cultures, it kind of fits.
