20' radius = 44 squares = 1100 square feet so Pi = 2.75
40' radius = 172 squares = 4300 square feet so Pi = 2.6875
I think that this may require more thought ?

Consider a 5' radius blast: this affects 4 squares which have a circumference of 40' — Actually it's worse than that.
