"Ready." The magenta mare lifts her hoof and injects Sandy with the syringe willed with pony stimulants. ""When this is done, you'll get the downers."

In her other forehoof, a weird item can be seen in her crossbow. A bolt that is more like a rainbow colored cylinder. It is a trick bolt she has loaded. A bolt tipped and filled with an experimental explosive: triple distilled zapapple liquor. With headshots out of the picture, blowing them up is her goal.

Sandy's ears suddenly perked up. "Wait a sec, Cap'n hasn't given th' order to-neeeeeeyyyehehehehehhhey!" A shrill whinny leapt from his mouth as the experimental stimulants hit his bloodstream like a freight train. His pupils dilated and his breath came in short, mighty blasts. The sounds of battle grew distant - as though coming from another plane of existence - and instead his ears filled with the roaring thunder of his own heartbeat. Every muscle, from horn to hoof, burned with unstable energy, so hot that he'd surely burn to a cinder should he stand still. The daggers and stakes picked up speed, until all the others could see was a whining blur of steel and wood. And yet, the engineer eye's could trace each of the scratches on the hilts.

Sandy was locked and loaded, and in desperate need of somepony to pull the trigger.
