Ethelay frowns as her youngest son runs from her, but then she sees where he's going. Wise thought, foolish action, she notes. She'll have to talk to him about subtlety. If anyone was after the child Matron, they'd have been alerted by Ryldolin's run.

She simply changes her own trajectory to mingle with the crowd until she reaches the two children. Ethelay gives the appropriate bow/curtsey that one would give to the Matron of a rival House (assume her ettiquette is perfect, though HT's drow knowledge is wretched) and asks "Ilharess, would you like to be escorted out of the ballroom?"
