The Inn

"Right here ma'am." The bartender replies shakily as he slinks out of the back room, holding a deep red glass bottle that sparkles in the lantern-light. It actually takes a moment to realize that the bottle's glass isn't what gives it its colour, but something suspended inside the drink itself.

"Garnet wine, our most expensive and highest quality drink. I'm s-sure your palate will appreciate it, and I assure you it's the highest proof d-drink we have on hand." He stammers, setting the bottle on the counter and pressing a corkscrew lightly against the cork.

"Would milady like just a glass, or the whole bottle?"

One of the raptorans who was busy up until now engaging in a little tongue-play with his mate snorts and shakes his head, muttering under his breath, "Bit uppity for such a little wyrmling isn't she? Must be new." Lyzper and Mab hear him fine over the noise, but Cassidy doesn't seem to pick up on it.

Then a bit louder he says, "Oy snaketongue, give the pinkie a break, he's only a kid." addressing Mab directly.

Orpheus

Thankfully, no more hail assaults Orpheus as he dashes to the Inn where he remembers seeing Mab fly inside before he was separated from the rest. He can easily slip inside, catching the tail end of the raptoran's comment to the wyrmling dragon he just met.

Periwinkle

Oddly enough, there are no signs of pursuit. In fact, from the lack of footsteps Periwinkle heard as he was rushing away it's entirely probable that the guard did not give chase at all. Perhaps he's not used to potential criminals vanishing into thin air right beneath his helm, and decided to give the little warforged a pass for his relatively minor crime.

In any case, the path to the inns is clear, but walking out onto the main street could expose him to the guard's vision again. He could try to stick to the back alleys, but there's a chance he might get lost as they don't follow the main road parallel, instead branching off and becoming dead ends seemingly at random.
