Heartflight gritted her teeth, wondering what the heck Godwyn was doing. Don't be an idiot! she thought. As the golem raised its sword, she jumped into action. She gave Gear the attack signal, hoped she got it, then jumped out of her hiding place.

"Hey, hooves off!" she said to the one who was raising its sword at Godwyn. Her wings shone like blades as she snapped them towards the golem, creating a blast of pure sound.
