Interestingly, the Spire is in the middle of the infinite Outlands, and the city of Cigil is at the top of the infinitely tall Spire, visible to the naked eye. Don't think about it.

How can I not think about it if it's interesting?

(Also I for one think that your presumable-typo there is more awesome than the accurate spelling.)
