Yeah that’s the same thought someone else i know suggested as well. Personally while i think it's possible, how would she have gotten there if it never happened?

Personally i think that's just a dramatic background to symbolize her slash us being pulled back to the chains of reality, she isn't actually in a place with chains behind her, that's just representing us being forcibly pulled back from whatever That was and put back into the proper place.

Not saying it's not prospit mind you, i just find it more likely it's just a symbolism background then an actual location background. (Read; BLUH! scenes, the part where Karkat was all pissed off slash had his sickle in the air to a bright red background, and the part where Gamzee goes "Hero mode" for the first time and the back ground is just going "HERO MODE!?" over and over again.)
