The package opens to show a crystal ball of rose quartz sitting at the book which itself sits atop a fat pack of components.

The Crystal Ball is a masterwork sphere of unnaturally dense, you can tell by it's weight, rose quartz. The light barely glints off the finish, a necessity as gazing into something really shiny can hurt one's eyes, especially for long periods of time. It looks to be one of larger ones, still easily holdable in one hand but not one of those palm-sized that most non-specialists use.

The components holds a general mix of different things, though you do note that there are a set of Augury Foci slipped in, your Divination teacher must have had a hand in getting this to you.

Finally, the book is something that most wizards covet. A Boccob's Blessed Book, although one edited to a more Wee Jasian style. It's cover is hardened leather that is almost an almond color, and the pages look to be of a higher quality.
