Just when Cael starts the gestures of a spell Black Sorrow is wreathed in shadows and vanishes, an instant later reappearing right next to Aya, staff raised high and ready to strike.
The Wrackspawn cuts off Alaister's head and raises the grisly trophy, the oversized and misshapen claw almost wrapping entirely around the grimacing skull. Then suddenly, the creature is outlined in a blue-white light and disappears with a short flash, the duration of the summoning having run out.
The fiery haired priestess keeps focusing on Mirielle, draining the lifeforce from her body with negative energy channeled through the strands of her scourge.
