The Absol speaks hurriedly and anxiously, while the Audino returns few words and shakes its head. Since that discussion is moving nowhere fast, the Absol turns to Carn and asks him some sort of question, as far as you can tell. Carn says something matter-of-factly, then follows it up with a phrase that sounds solemn. The Absol asks one more thing, and Carn simply nods.

The Absol hangs its head over its friend, and the Absol gives it a few reassuring words. The Absol turns to you and nods reluctantly, then backs off a few paces so you can capture the Audino. Carn gives you some space as well.
Pitch pulls out a Pokeball, gently tapping it against the Audino's head, watching as the energy easily absorbs the oh-so-weakened Pokemon.

For a second it seems he is going to pocket the Pokeball. He simply stares at the ball for a few seconds, a strange expression on his face. Eventually he walks over to the Absol, standing right in front of it.

He outstretches his arm, Pokeball resting on the palm of his hand.

If that doesn't earn the stupid beast's trust, nothing will.
