As for the spell, well, you can make the argument it comes from the Bigby's Hand line of spells such as Bigby's Crushing Hand, but I can assure you that this spell was in existance in this comic before I was even aware these spells existed in D&D I would argue Rand's variant is more versatile as well.

As such, it's best to consider it as one of Rand's many unnamed spells.
