I dont see the difference, both DM and Luke wanted to use force to push their vision of how the party should be though.

I'm not referring to the raiding of the village. I am referring to this line:
"Luke, buddy. I don't think she planned on joining our party in the first place." Notice that DM does not deny this. How is not joining the party at all wanting to use force to push their vision of how the party should be? Or do you mean that DM's vision of how the party should be is that they should be dead?

It is true that DM did mention that she was surprised that Luke and Cory didn't try and get in on raiding the village, but it was said OOC and not exactly an offer either.
