Angel's eyes glow as she scans the Koffing, assimilating its explosive nature. Her attempt at a powerful sonic attack falls flat, however, as she emits more of a whisper than a yell. Shaking his head with a grin, Richard says, "Well... that was less than effective. Anyway, Kappa... try and bring down its defenses. Sludge Bomb!" Again, Richard makes a plucking motion, causing the ball of sludge that appears to be a murky gray in color. The ball slams into Angel and explodes, coating the Pokémon in toxic goo which seeps into its skin.
