Once again, the sonic attack seems to roll off of Kappa harmlessly. "Huh," Richard comments, "who knew that not having ears could be such an advantage? Go figure. Still, no sense in showing more than I already have... Kappa, Dark Pulse!" The Koffing drifts towards Angel as Richard reaches up for another plucking motion, and a wave of dull gray power surges from Kappa, slamming into Angel and dazing the Pokémon. Richard looks down as his Pokedex dings once more, seeing it register Gardevoir, and frowns. "Maybe I shouldn't have shifted that one..."
