"Ack!...You dang bijfhhght...--" he sputtered as he ducked his head using his magick to help in altering the course of the frozen bomb. And then suddenly tackle from behind as the earth pony finally broke free.

A surprised yelp escaped Icy's lips as the earth pony roughly tackled the ice mage to the ground, inadvertently sending the bomb flying to the far end of the room, landing on the ground with a loud thud. Remarkably the encased ice remained intact, but it probably made a hecka of a ruckus.

Icy kicked out with her hindlegs, trying to dislodge the earth pony, grabbing a piece of broken board that lay nearby with her magic to smack her away in case she didn't get the hint.

"As a matter of fact, you must. Get to it Lieutenant ahahah heh.." She laughed as another yawn escaped her.

And so, the lieutenant happily complied and cuddled the fair captain.
