Anton is young, well-built, and fit. He has long, semi-unkempt, bleached-white hair. Obviously dyed, but good luck trying to figure out what his natural color is. He fashions himself in something of an emo-punk style, cutting his hair off near the base of his neck in the back, but letting the front grow long, and pulling all the hair to one side, covering one eye. He wears dull colors, mostly monochrome, blacks and grays and whites. Always long-sleeved shirts and full-length pants, and shoes, never sandals or any other open-toed footwear. He's most commonly found in black jeans, and striped, monochrome turtle-necks. And of course that one, vibrant green eye, peering out at you, with a look of...what is that? Disgust? Indifference? Pity?

    Background

Doctor Briar, Anton's father, is the single most renowned and desired surgeon in all of New York. He's famous within the medical community, and beyond; featured on TV programs, and even paid to fly out of state sometimes to perform dangerous operations that the patient refuses to entrust to anyone else. Needless to say, the last name Briar holds quite a bit of sway. Anton can't walk into a hospital without experiencing fifty kinds of brown-nosing, boot-licking, and buttering up. It's like everyone thinks if they can make nice with 'the Briar kid' then the Doctor himself will take them on as his apprentice or something.

All it really does is make Anton want to rip their tongues out of their mouths. But he'd never do that to a tongue. That organ is flawless, and deserves much better than the flapping and floundering most people use it for.

Anton doesn't get along with his dad. Not that he particularly gets along with anyone. But there may be a certain added bit of enmity towards his father. Perhaps it's because the only operation Doctor Briar ever screwed up on was the one that would have saved his wife's life. Nobody talks about it. The news, the media, everyone who constantly praises Dr. Briar...it's like they've just shoved it away. Ignored it. Like they don't care. It sickens Anton. And he's vowed never to end up like them. And to never let them get away with. He refuses to ignore it like they do, and reminds his dad of the mistake that killed his mother every chance he gets. Perhaps that's why Anton's father can't stand him, won't speak to him anymore, and even bought him his own apartment to live in, by himself, depositing a weekly allowance in his bank account to keep the boy alive. Nice parenting skills, 'dad'.

    Personality:

Anton is quiet, reserved, keeps to himself. He's a little dark and creepy, but definitely not hostile. He's mild-mannered, and generally not rude, but not necessarily polite either. He doesn't express much, but he does a lot of thinking. And over the years, a certain...obsession...has grown in his mind.

He despises his flesh. His body. And not just his, everyone's. He loathes the weakness and pitiful simplicity that plagues so much of the human body. There is only one part of the body that Anton truly loves, and that is the face, and head in general. Whenever he looks at someone, his eyes land right on theirs, and then his gaze proceeds to crawl all over their face, admiring every little nook and cranny. The eyes. How amazing is the human eye? They are absolutely incredible little organs, capable of so much, able to provide such a profound ability, to display emotion, to shield themselves from harm despite their sensitivity, and much, much more. They are truly miraculous. Yes, worthy of praise. And the nose! The entire olfactory system, the inner ear canals that help the whole body balance, and the tiny ear drums that translate vibrations into unique sounds! The mouth, the tongue, taste buds and teeth and saliva, and the most amazing one of them all hasn't even been mentioned: The Brain. The human head was just full of the most intricate, advanced, and incredible biological systems. And what was the rest of the body...?

Freaking...joints...and sticks. How miserable is that?! And then a big fat pile of gross squishy organs that serve no other purpose other than to keep the joints and sticks moving. It was sad. Truly, truly sad. And Anton hates it. Loathes it. Despises it with a burning passion. It is what consumes him.

If there is any way...anything in this world that will allow him to fix this miserable body of his...change it...make it better...make it more. He will do it. He would do anything. Anything to be rid himself of this hideous, loathsome, wretched flesh.

    Abilities:
    Spoiler
    Show

Anton doesn't have so much abilities as he has a last name that will get him into any hospital, anytime, anywhere, no questions asked. And when he does ask questions, he always gets answers. Medical staff are always happy to get on his good side and tell him anything he wants to know. Thanks to this, he abuses his privileges, and has actually stolen a fair amount of medical equipment. Equipment he can, in fact, use, thanks to spending his entire life completely enveloped in the medical field.

Additionally, Anton has congenital analgesia. Means he can't feel pain. And has never felt pain. Ever. His nerves are just screwed up. As such, he often accidentally hurts himself, which only fuels his disgust for the body even more as he sneers at how easily it is burned, cut, and damaged in general.

Anton isn't exceptional in anything. Not especially sporting, or strong, or fast, or academic. However, he is very intelligent in his own way. Through determination and diligence, he has furthered his knowledge of biology, medical and life sciences, and anatomy, far beyond that of a normal boy his age.
