Not sure if he looks like the figure from before, but ...

Thumble was saddened by the actions of the birds, who seemingly had been infected by the madness of this clearing. Shaking his head, he froze as something caught his attention.

Most people attempting to hide themselves in the woods took the simple route - staying behind a tree, a rock, a bush - and hoped that no one noticed them peeking out and around their cover. Those who were trained in the art of stealth (or were naturally adept at it), knew that success came whne you matched your outline to the world around you. By conforming to the world around you, you became a part of the world, effectively disappearing into plain sight. Of course, blending in only worked so well, and the more foreign objects you brought with you, the harder it was to hide.

In the end, it was a minor thing that caught Thumble's attention ... a shadow where there should not have been one ... a branch creaking in the still air ... an angular, smooth branch that was really a bow ...

Thumble blinked and gestured quickly at Slobber, moving to hide behind a tree. The dog, no longer panting and wagging his tail, darted behind another tree to his right. As he moved, Thumble hissed out to the group, "ARCHER!", only stopping to point once he was behind cover.
