I managed to hit one of the Enterplay MLP CCG event and snagged myself a starter deck +Booster pack, the guys at the store where the event takes place mentioned that the actual booster pack won't be going on sale until the 13th.

I didn't stay to try out the game though, since I had further business, and now I'll have to wait until it actually goes on sale before I'd have someone to play against...
