Yes. However, given the player wishes the character to be female, and presumably wants them to stay that way in a universe where there a dozen and a half entities capable of returning them to their prior state if so desired, presumably the character wishes this as well, hence my wondering; given that, it might or might not still be an effect that occurs without the character's consent.
