Well that answers one question... May as well introduce myself. The gnome steps out of the shadows as the other two left, it would probably be a very bad idea to attempt combat with his only advantage not viable in this instant. The fact that he wasn't dead yet either meant Dex wished to speak or he was waiting to kill him after the other two left.

Readying shadow stride if poop hits the fan, destination out of the room if possible, even out the window and outside (at level 12 he should be able to take a fall though he can shadow jaunt safely onto the ground)
