Roll to Dodge I: Why don't we have one of these already?

Upon waking up in my cell in an unknown, and potentially life threatening situation, I decide to attempt an escape. After a long period of thinking about the situation, I decide to seize control of the ship. It is only logical that effecting an escape will be much easy when I have a space ship.
As such, I attempt to interface my mind with the ship's computer telepathically.
