Trog's Tavern and the Dancing Fox Inn are both solid locations to introduce a new PC. The former will often times have some kind of zany conflict going on while the latter is a violence-free eatery, so that's a good thing to keep in mind whilst making your choice.

Being the grease trap of the Cosmos, the Nexus allows any sort of PC from any sort of setting. If you don't mind the hodgepodge of insanity it's a pretty neat place!
