Maria nods and floats over towards the bear.

"The bear went over the mountain," Maria says, a smile creeping on her face again, even as it still approaches, "and what do you think he saw?"

In her left hand (the one that has "Tick" scratched onto the forearm, not the one damaged by the scissors), she gets three Reaper Peppers - well over 2 million Scoville Heat Units - and crushes them. Then, she waits, as the bear continues charging. "Tock. Tock. Tock." She repeats this as the bear comes closer, until it's close enough to hit her.

Then, she throws the crushed peppers at the bear's eyes. She breaks out in laughter, regardless of what happens next.
