Worldwide drought and crop failure, militants all over the place, the Balefrog, zombie invasions, and a mad priest trying to turn himself into a god or something. That's without counting some of the more domestic stuff, like Tupelo's coup and the falling-out after *ahem* Jarrland's unauthorised acquisition of technology. On the bright side, Xiu Zhuang Ignato was born, and he turned out ok, right?
