Dear fellow temple staff,

I have been shipwrecked on a volcanic island, and will be unable to take my shifts in the sanctuary or at teaching for the near future.

There's also, on closer examination, more in the bottle. A shiny green bauble rattling around, and many grains of sand, and a twig. If someone has a way to notice it, the bauble is quite magical and complex in extra dimensions, and the twig is a fragment from a palm-tree, still fresh-broken enough to be alive.
